Crews with Douglas and Washoe Counties as well the Washoe Tribal Police are looking for a man who has been missing since Monday night.
Washoe Tribal Police tell us the man is 45-year-old Michael McDonald. They say he is an American-Indian who is 5'9" tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes with light brown skin.
Police say McDonald was last seen Monday night in the Dresslerville area of Douglas County. McDonald is known to cut wood in the Pine Nut Allotments near Gardnerville.
They say McDonald may be driving a dark blue 1986 GMC truck with Nevada license plate 989-NZB. They tell us the truck also has a brown tailgate and may have dents in the truck.
Tribal Police say they are concerned for McDonald's well being because he is not usually out of contact with family and friends for this long of a time.
We are working to gather a photo of McDonald from law enforcement and family.
If you see McDonald or his truck you are asked to call the Douglas County Sheriff's Office at 775-782-5126.
