Cleanup of NV Voter Rolls Decreases Numbers for All Parties

The Nevada Secretary of State's Office reports that a routine cleanup of voter rolls decreased registration numbers for every political party in Nevada over the last month.

According to the report, the total number of statewide registered active voters decreased by 50,607 over the month of December.

Of the 1,190,025 active and registered voters statewide - over 41% are Democrats, just under 35% are Republicans, 17% are nonpartisan, under 5% are members of the Independent American Party and the remaining 1.35% are members of the Libertarian or other minor parties.
