Posted: Updated:

The Nevada Wolf Pack Men's Basketball team lost to Long Beach State 80-77 in Overtime Saturday night.

Nevada led by 3 with seconds left in regulation when Long Beach's Mike Caffey hit a 3 pointer to send the game in to OT.

In overtime Nevada trailed by as much as five points, but a Michael Perez 3 pointer cut the deficit to two points.

Long Beach State would make one of two, free throws from the line, however Cole Huffs three pointer clanged off the rim as time expired as Nevada ended the non-conference portion of their schedule in disappointing fashion 80-77.

Jerry Evans Jr. led Nevada with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Deonte Burton scored 19 points while shooting 4-17 from the field.

Nevada will start conference play out on the road on January 1st against San Jose State.
