El Dorado County Releases Citizen Survey Results

Posted: Updated:

This year the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office launched a community survey to see how well they're serving the community, and they say they're pleased with the results.

The 11 question survey was given to 125 citizens who placed calls for service from all five supervisory districts in El Dorado County.

The survey was issued either in person or by phone and included questions about the deputy's personal skills, punctuality and overall competence during the call for service.

The sheriff's office says that more than 75% of the callers said that their impression was "very positive" and 84% of respondents said the deputies did their job at an above average or outstanding level.

The Sheriff's Office will use the results of his survey to better meet the needs of the community. "We don't just want to rest on our laurels," Sheriff John D'Agostini said. "We are always looking for ways to improve. I am very proud of the level of service our deputies provide county-wide", and "this first-ever survey provides good feedback on our performance, I strongly believe that there is always room for improvement."
