Reno Detectives Arrest Man for Felony Child Abuse

Washoe County deputies have arrested a Reno man on one count of felony child abuse causing substantial bodily harm.

Deputies say the incident involved the infant son of 24-year-old Charles Burke Wholey.

The victim was brought to the emergency room this past Tuesday where detectives were called to investigate. Wholey was arrested that same day.

This is still an ongoing investigation and no additional details may be released at this time.

A mugshot has not been released - at the time of this writing.
