Plumas Deputies Arrest Man on Child Abuse, Homicide Charges

The Plumas County Sheriff's Office in Califormia has a man in custody accused of killing a child.

Deputies responded to Peppard Flat Road in Quincy last Thursday on a report of an unresponsive toddler. When they arrived they found evidence that indicated child abuse.

The child was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center here in Reno and passed away the next day.

Deputeis arrested 24-year-old Kenneth Stringfellow of Quincy. He's charged with homicide and felony child abuse, and is being held at the Plumas County Correctional Facility.

His bail was been set at $1 million.
