El Dorado Sheriff's Department Arrests 3 for Series of Burglaries

The El Dorado Sheriff's Department has arrested 3 people in connection with a series of burglaries throughout the county, from the Pollock Pines to Placerville and Georgetown.

Investigators say their investigation started on December 5th, when they found a stolen vehicle parked in front of a business in Georgetown. Around the same time, deputies persuing a wanted felon found stolen goods at an address off of Wentworth Springs Road in Georgetown.

On December 10th another stolen vehicle was found at the same address. That same day investigators obtained a search warrant, entered the home and found hundreds of stolen items, which they say were taken from four separate home burglaries. Many of the recovered items have been identified and given back to their rightful owners.

Three Georgetown residents were arrested at the scene, 37 year old Jeri Acuna, 32 year old Ryann Jana Leidel, and parolee Tommie Richard Stover. Acuna is charged with possession of stolen property and a stolen vehicle. Leidel and Stover were arrested for each having two outstanding felony warrants.
