Carson City deputies have three people in custody accused of vandalizing a church.

Deputies began investigating after getting a report of provocative and revolting graffiti at the church on the corner of Musser and Division Streets near downtown Carson City.

After they received a tip they found one suspect who they admitted to the vandalism. Deputies have identified her as 19-year-old Teri Riddle.

They say she was aided by 21-year-old Colton Banta and 20-year-old Tyler Vansickle.

All three were arrested and charged with damage to property used for religious purposes. Bail was set at $2,500. If convicted, they face up to one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.
