Governor Sandoval Tours Area Small Businesses

Posted: Updated:

Governor Brian Sandoval spent part of his morning at Drone America on Longley Lane in Reno gathering information. Not technological information like you might think. Not even manufacturing specs. He wanted to know how the state is doing.

"Since I have been governor I've visited 200-300 businesses. I think access is important and this way I hear directly how we're doing," Sandoval said.

And he wasn't alone today. He sent his entire cabinet out across the state doing the same thing. Stopping in on small businesses and seeing how things are going.

"I think it's real important for businesses to be able to talk with those who represent them and those who regulate them. And it's just as important for those who regulate and pass laws to see how they effect people day to day and really see how those things are working or not working in the real world," Sandoval said.

In all he and his cabinet visited more than a dozen businesses across the state Thursday.
