Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Unveils Strategic Plan

Posted: Updated:

Officials with the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority rolled out details of their strategic five-point plan Tuesday.

Officials plan to work on economic development and general aviation operations - at both the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and the Reno Stead Airport.

They also want to expand cargo development and air service as well.

"Our numbers have dropped in recent years in terms of the number of flights, the number of seats, the number of passengers out of the airport and what we hope in the future is with the help of our community, both the tourism sectors and the business sectors, we can grow that air service in the future," says Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority President & CEO Marily Mora.

As for the fifth and final point, officials say they want to make the airport a more positive environment for everyone.
