Reno firefighters spent their day Friday raising money to help support families with children or adults living with autism.
From 11am-2pm Friday, Reno firefighters could be found at 775 Gastropub in Meadowood Mall selling firefighter calendars to benefit the Justin Hope Foundation - a group that raises money to help families dealing with neuro-developmental disorders.
Firefighters who posed for the calendar say they were glad to help an important cause.
"It's fun...it's kinda...it's a little embarrassing sometimes you get teased a little bit at the firehouse, but it's for a good cause it's all worth it," says Anthony Marvel.
The Justin Hope Foundation was co-founded by a Reno firefighter and fellow firefighters said they were happy to support his effort.
