Two CVS Pharmacies Robbed in Sparks

Posted: Updated:

Sparks Police are looking for three men involved in two CVS Pharmacy robberies on Saturday.

The first robbery happened at the CVS Pharmacy on North McCarran Boulevard near Prater Way just before 4 p.m. A man approached the clerk in the gaming section of the store and pulled out a note, demanding money. Once he got some cash, he left.

The suspect in the first robbery is described as a white man between 30 and 40 years old. He's around 5'8" and heavy-set.

The second robbery happened five hours later. Police say two men walked into the CVS Pharmacy on Sparks Boulevard just before 9 p.m. They demanded all the money from the register and according to the clerk, one of the men had a black handgun in his waistband.

The suspects in the second robbery are described as black men in their mid-twenties around 6'0". The first suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket with several zippers on the front. The second suspect was wearing a gray letterman's-type jacket with an "S" over the left chest.

Police do not believe the robberies are related. They are offering a $1,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the man who robbed the Sparks boulevard store, and a $1,000 reward for information on the man who robbed the McCarran CVS.

If you have any information to report, you can call Secret Witness at 322-4900.
