Lyon County Sheriff's Search for Robber

Posted: Updated:

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office is looking for that man that robbed the Dayton Valley Corner Store Monday night.

They say a man walked into the store on Dayton Valley Road around 8 p.m. Monday. He then jumped over the counter and demanded money. The clerk opened the register, and the man took off with about $200 in 20's.

The Sheriff's Office say it does not appear that a weapon was used, but at this time do not have any leads.

They describe the suspect as a white man standing about 5' 5" weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black ski mask or bandana, black gloves, light-colored jeans, light-colored shoes, and a black sweatshirt with the word "City" on the front.

If you have any information you're asked to call the Lyon County Sheriff's Office Dayton sub station at (775) 246-6200 or Secret Witness at (775) 463-5251.
