Auto Insurance America has teamed with local charity, The Children's Cabinet, to collect new or slightly used coats for children of any age. "We are asking the community to come together, look through their closets or purchase a coat and bring it to one of our offices so we can keep the children of the Reno Sparks area warm this winter," said Ted Venter, Vice President of Auto Insurance America.

All donated coats will be given to The Children's Cabinet for distribution to those in need. "We want to do something that makes a difference in the lives of people that need a little assistance and also directly impacts our local community. This initiative is very important to us and we would love to see the Reno Sparks community really support us in our efforts," added Venter.
The Children's Cabinet is a local 501C3 non-profit organization that started in 1985 whose mission is to keep children safe and keep families together. They help over 12,500 Nevada families per year. Their services include child care resources, child care referrals, free parenting classes, free family counseling and food pantries. They can be found at www.childrenscabinet.org and on Facebook.
