Two Dogs Rescued in Reno House Fire

A woman is looking for a place to stay after her home caught fire Friday night. It happened just before 8 p.m. Friday at the Skyline Trailer Park on Jade Street in North Reno.

Fire crews say when they got there they found smoke coming from inside the residence. They say the home was locked up very tightly which made it difficult for them to get in. Once they made entry they put out a small fire that was inside the home.

The woman living inside the home was not there at the time but her two dogs were. Fire crews say they were able to get the dogs out of the house and treat them with oxygen. They say once the dogs caught their breath they were good to go and given back to the owner.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
