From the SPCA:
On Saturday, December 7 Natural Paws is hosting Santa Paws Pet Photos from 11 AM to 3 PM at Natural Paws' temporary Christmas location at Summit Mall (13295 S. Virginia St. Suite 206 – 3rd door to right of Apple). This event will feature professional pet and children photos with Santa Claus featuring a beautiful holiday background.
Johnstone Studios will be the professional photographer for the event. Johnstone Studios is an attentive, fun, and creative photography studio in midtown Reno that has been in business since 2005 with pet portraiture and family photography. The sitting fee is a suggested minimum donation of $20 with ALL proceeds benefiting SPCA of Northern Nevada (SPCA). The $20 sitting fee includes a beautiful 5 x 7 printed photo by Johnstone Studios. Additional holiday packages will be available the day of the event. Every participant will also receive a free gift bag from Natural Paws featuring fun doggie goodies.
Natural Paws is an all-natural pet food store in Galena that has raised over $1,600 for pet rescue by donating a portion of their 2013 sales to pet rescue groups. Natural Paws will also be hosting the Animal Gift Giving Tree this holiday season benefiting several pet rescue groups in the area. Help support the local homeless dogs and cats in shelters by donating a collar, toy, treat or bed to a sheltered animal this holiday season. Bring your own gift or receive 20 percent off your purchase for your donation at Natural Paws – all the gifts will be given to the shelter dogs and cats on Christmas Eve so they can have a Happy HOWLiday. The Santa Pet Photos will be held Saturday, December 7 and the Animal Gift Giving Tree starts Thanksgiving holiday weekend and continues through Christmas Eve.
