Troopers Identify Woman Killed in Truck Crash in Pleasant Valley

Nevada Highway Patrol troopers have identified the Reno woman killed in last Friday's truck crash near Pagni Lane in Pleasant Valley.

Troopers say 41-year-old Allison J. Maupin died after her 2000 Mazda pickup left the roadway and hit the side of the Pleasant Valley fire department building next to Highway 395.

The accident happened around 2:15pm. Troopers are still figuring out why the crash happened.

Troopers say she was not wearing a seatbelt.

No other vehicles were involved and alcohol is not believed to have been involved in the crash.
