Things 2 Do!

Posted: Updated:

If there were a word for this weekend I'd say it is elegance. Because much of what's on tap for the weekend will make you feel elegant...and think of elegance. That goes for the Annual Fantasies in Chocolate event at the Grand Sierra Resort. The theme of that black-tie event is A Night in Paris. It's Saturday night. And an art exhibit in town extolling the elegance of Italy will make you think of great opera singers. It's at Arte Italia in Reno and 14 world renowned photographers have 49 photographs of Italy's elegance on display.  Enjoy!

Friday 11/1

Arte Italia:

UNESCO Italia is a photographic celebration of Italy and its architecture and its artistic treasures. Some of the world's most valuable sites for cultural historical and creative importance are displayed here in Reno at 442 Flint Street.

This decadent annual event matches champagne, gourmet food and the most marvelous chocolate desserts you can imagine. This year's theme is A Night in Paris. And it's all for a good cause…the money goes to the Reno Gazette-Journal Foundation that gives to those in need in our community.
