We're learning more about a semi truck accident that closed part of I-80 for several hours Friday morning.

The crash happened just before 3:30am on I-80 eastbound just west of Truckee, California and involved three vehicles.

Troopers say the driver of a truck hauling fruits and vegetables clipped the back of an Oldsmobile which was pushing a Jaguar from behind after that car broke down and lost power.

The semi overturned in the road and the Oldsmobile lost control and skidded off the road.

The driver of the Oldsmobile - identified as Lawrence Yoakum of Sacramento - was taken by Care Flight to Renown for cuts to the head arm and hand.

Two passengers were taken to Tahoe Forest Hospital for moderate injuries.

The driver of the semi truck was not hurt.
