Area Haunted Houses Open for Halloween Night

Posted: Updated:

If you're more in the mood for a haunted house than trick-or-treating, there are still a few places you can check out.

The Slaughterhouse located under Rise Nightclub at 210 North Sierra Street is open extra late tonight for Halloween - and is open through Sunday night.

If you bring a can of food to donate you get $3 off the price of admission; the food benefits the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

Meanwhile, tonight is the last night for the Frightmare in downtown Sparks. It starts at 7pm and will go until around midnight at 1250 Victorian Avenue.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Nevada Diabetes Association.

Tickets are $15-$25 per person.

And lastly, Reno Forklifts Haunted House goes until November 1st at 171 Coney Island Drive from 6pm to 9:30pm.

The cost is free, but donations are welcome and will be equally split to Sparks Middle School and WARC. Can and food donations will also be accepted.
