Raffle to Benefit Veterans Guest House

The Veterans Guest House is offering you the chance win some cash while supporting local vets.

They are selling raffle tickets-- now through December 13th -- to raise money that will help provide temporary housing for veterans and their families while undergoing medical treatment.

Tickets cost $100 each.

Five winners will get $500, and one grand prize winner will get $7,500.

The drawing will be December 14th and you do not need to be present to win.

Only 500 tickets will be sold, and all donations are tax deductible. Raffle tickets are available online at www.veteransguesthouse.org or stopping by the Veterans Guest House at 880 Locust St. in Reno. Tickets will also be sold throughout the community, including the following locations: the Flag Store at 155 Glendale Ave. in Sparks, PJs & Co, Restaurant & Salon at 1590 S. Wells Ave in Reno, Rounds Bakery at 294 Moana Lane #10 in Reno, and Seven Troughs Distilling Co. at 1155 Watson Way #5 in Sparks.
