For the first time since Monday's shooting, students of Sparks Middle School return to pay their respects.

It allowed students to talk to teachers and get back to some familiar surroundings.

Students, teachers, and family members started coming into school at about 10:30 Thursday morning.

Many made posters and left cards for Michael Landsberry -- their beloved math teacher who died in the shooting.

One man even left his U.S. Navy Medal for Meritorious Service saying he deserves even more than that.

About 700 people attended a private memorial service Thursday, remembering their teacher that many knew as Batman picking each other up as they try to heal.

Since Friday is Nevada Day (observed), the kids won't be back at school until Monday.

Of course, extra counselors will be on-hand to help these teachers and kids get back to normal.

A northern Nevada man did not have symptoms of a heart attack. Rather, he felt a little tightness in his chest during high-intensity workouts and he suspected asthma.
