H&M Opens in Meadowood Mall

Posted: Updated:

A new clothing store opened inside Meadowood Mall Thursday.

Swedish retailer Hennes & Mauritz includes collections for women, men, young ladies and young men, with separate 'store within store' sections for accessories, lingerie, sports apparel, and maternity. The store also carries a children's collection for ages 0-14, as well as H&M's plus-size line H&M+.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Shoppers we spoke to said they're exited to have the store come to northern Nevada.

"It's like the cutest clothes and good prices, something a college kid can afford and look good doing it," says Megan Atkinson of Reno.

"I've heard a lot of great things. Their style is pretty trendy for young people, it's affordable and pretty great," says Evan Thomas of Reno.

Since opening their first store in the U.S. 13 years ago, H&M has expanded to more the 270 locations around the country.
