Four fighter pilots from Botswana were honored Thursday during a graduation ceremony at the Reno-Stead Airport.

Reno-based Tactical Air Support Incorporated had been training the instructors for the Botswana Defense Force over the past five weeks on how to fly F5 fighter jets.

"It's just like the philosophy we use for the Air Force Marine Corps, Navy teach the teachers so the advance weapons schools teach the more experience and capable instructors to go back and be instructors for their Air Force," RC Thompson.

After completing the training here, instructors for Tactical Air Support will travel to Botswana to finish the tactical phase of the training.
