Police Search for Armed Robbers

The Sparks Police Department is looking for the men who robbed the Jackson's Food Store at gunpoint Sunday night.

Police say two men walked into the store on Brierley Way in Sparks, around 10 p.m. Witnesses tell them, one of the suspects pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded money. Meanwhile, the second suspect allegedly pointed a black shotgun at a customer, and demanded they get on the ground. The two got an undisclosed amount of cash from the registered and took off.

According to police, the suspect carrying the handgun, is described as being 5'8" to 6' tall with a medium build. Witnesses say he was wearing a black hoodie, black mask, dark-colored pants and a white shirt under the hooding. He was also wearing dark gloves with light-colored strips on the knuckles.

They say, the suspect with the shotgun, is also described as being 5'8" to 6' tall with a medium build. He was wearing a full mask with holes gun out for his eyes and nose. He had on a dark shirt, dark pants and black shoes with white tips.

Neither the clerk, nor the customer were physically injured.
