Reno firefighters say they need your help with information on a series of arson fires in the area of Wells Avenue since 2009.

On September 17th, investigators responded to a structure fire in the 100-block of Wonder Street. Investigators say they concluded the fire was intentionally set in the basement of a vacant property. And after an investigation, 49-year-old Mike Malucelli was arrested and booked on the charge of second degree arson.

"The fires have all been similar in nature and indicators suggest that at least some of the fires were set by the same person. With this recent arrest and investigation, we are reopening up these arson cases and hope that the community can help us by providing any information they might have about the fires," says investigator Tray Palmer.

If you have any information on this case, call Secret Witness at 322-4900 or text your tip to 847411 or go online to www.secretwitness.com. Your information will remain anonymous and you could be eligible for a reward.
