The slaughterhouse is actually three times as big this year.
"These guys have been building for months, and not sleeping, here all night, all day. It's going to be really something to see," says Richard Sloane.
The Slaughterhouse moved from its old location at Meadowood Mall to its new downtown location underneath Rise nightclub at 210 North Sierra Street.
Organizers say it's bigger - and scarier than ever before with its new home in a basement lending that whole new creepy element.
They expect hundreds of people to come out to test their bravery against the 60 trained actors who make it their mission to scare the pants off of you.
And just like in years past, this group is working to help a different scary issue in northern Nevada.
They are partnering with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada again so if you bring in a can of food you can get $3 off the admission price.
It's a good way to help all the hungry people in our area, but especially the kids. "A lot of children in our area don't have the food they need. One in four children in northern Nevada is food insecure," says Jocelyn Lantrip.
You can also help out the food bank during our 21st annual Share Your Christmas Drive-by Food Drive on Friday, December 13th from 6 am to 6 pm. We'll have more details about drop-off locations as the event gets closer, but we hope to see you there!
And you can come check out the Slaughterhouse for opening night tonight starting at 7pm.
