City of Sparks Launches Interactive Citizen Request System

Posted: Updated:

The City of Sparks is launching "Sparks Citizen Requests," a new program that aims to increase citizen-government interaction. Officials will demonstrate the new program at Sparks City Hall at 10 a.m. Monday morning.

The program allows residents to directly report issues such as a pothole or graffiti, as well as track the progress of their request, until it is resolved.

You can access the program through the city's website www.cityofsparks.us. It is also available to Apple users, through the city's mobile application. You can find that, by searching for "Sparks, NV" in the iTunes store.

According to the city, citizens now have the ability to ask a question, express a concern, or report an issue with the assurance their concern is instantly in the hands of the Sparks city staff or department who will transparently address the issue.

They want to remind you, this is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing danger, or life and safety emergencies, you should always call 911.
