Sparks Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspect

Sparks Police are on the lookout for the man that robbed a woman at gunpoint, near John Ascuaga's Nugget Thursday night.

They say a woman was walking to her car after work, just before 10 p.m. Thursday. She was getting into her car located in a Nugget employee parking lot. 

She heard man's voice demand her purse. When the woman turned to look, a handgun was pointed in her face. Again, the suspect demanded her purse, and she gave it up.

The suspect took off, headed west, towards the RTC Bus Terminal on Victorian Avenue and 14th street.

Police are looking for a man age 17 to 20, with a light complexion. They say he is clean shaven, and was wearing a black hoodie over a white shirt.
