Sugar Bowl, Kirkwood, Northstar, Heavenly to Hold Job Fairs

Sugar Bowl-Royal Gorge is holding its annual job fair Saturday, October 19th in the Coldstream Room at Judah Lodge from 9am-3pm.

Jobs include terrain park, hotel and food & beverage. 

Employees get free unrestricted season passes, discounted tickets for friends and family, 50% off food, and discounted lessons and rentals.

Meanwhile, Vail Resorts will hold three separate job fairs this month for Heavenly Mountain, Northstar California and Kirkwood Mountain Resorts.

Heavenly will hire 800 seasonal employees, Northstar will hire 1,100 and Kirkwood will hire 400.

Job fairs will take place at the Red Cliffs Lodge for Kirkwood this Saturday from 9am- 2pm, at the Heavenly California Main Lodge for Heavenly and Kirkwood on Saturday, October 19th from 9am-2pm and at the Northstar Village for Northstar on Saturday, October 26th from 9am-2pm. There will be a free shuttle for job fair attendees to Kirkwood this Saturday leaving the South Lake Tahoe Y Transit Center at 9am and returning at 1pm.

Positions include ski and snowboard instructors, ticket sellers, cooks, lift operators, retail, parking attendants, ticket scanners, mountain safety attendants and more.

The ability to ski or snowboard is not required.  

Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are hosting their annual hiring fair Saturday, November 2 from 9am-noon. The resorts are looking to hire nearly 1,000 seasonal employees.

The job fair will be located in the Olympic House at Squaw Valley. Positions include ski/snowboard school instructors, lift operations, grooming, terrain parks, culinary services, rental services, retail, security, product sales and services and parking.

Opportunities include full-time as well as part-time positions. Skiing or snowboarding abilities are not required for all positions.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply online at www.squaw.com or www.skialpine.com before the event, however, they say they will accept walk-ins on the day of the job fair.
