Instead of going "batty" this year, Halloween has gone to the birds at the Outlets at Sparks with their first-ever Halloween Egg Hunt on October 31 at 5 p.m., with trick-or-treating afterwards until 7 p.m.

Children ages 12 months to 10 years are invited for a different – and safe - Halloween adventure this year. On the Outlets at Sparks property, black and orange eggs will be filled with candy and prizes such as gift cards to the on-site stores, then made available to children for pick up. Promptly at 5 p.m., children will be broken out into age groups, gather together, and then hunt for the eggs hidden in select areas of the property. The egg hunt portion will take approximately 20 minutes.

During the hunt, costumed kids can collect as many eggs as possible, after which a safe trick-or-treat will also take place, allowing the little goblins and fairies to gather more candy in front of the stores. There will also be a costume contest, with prizes given for the best three costumes chosen that evening. A DJ will be present to entertain both kids and parents, and stores will celebrate the holiday with sidewalk sales.
