Police Investigate Suspicious Activity on South D'Andrea

Posted: Updated:

At 9:21 this morning, Sparks police were called to the South D-Andrea roundabout on reports of a man harassing a child in that area.

The initial witness said a man in a car attempted to talk to an elementary school age girl as she was walking down the street.

When police arrived, the man had left the scene. He is described as being in his mid to late 20s with a medium build, unshaven and with a thin face. He was driving a black '90s Honda 4-door with a spoiler on the rear end, and an orange or yellow stripe across the trunk.

Police say they are unsure if this incident is related to a similar incident that occurred on Friday, September 13th. The Sparks Police Department is asking anyone with information about these incidents to please call the Sparks Police Department Detective Division at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.  Please call 911 if you witness anything similar occurring.
