Ask the Doctor: Mouth Guards for Athletes

Posted: Updated:

The American Dental Association says mouth guards prevent approximately 200,000 injuries each year in high school and collegiate football alone. So should your young athlete be wearing one?

Dr. Larry Frugoli is a dentist at Caughlin Crossing Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. He's taking your calls about mouth guards in tonight's Ask the Doctor segment.

To speak with him from 5-6pm tonight, dial 858-2222.

For future questions, call his office at 329-2995 or go online to www.drfrugoli.com
