Four Stabbings in Less than Six Hours

The Reno Police Department along with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office are investigating four stabbings that happened in a six hour time span.

The first stabbing happened just before 9 p.m. Tuesday near the Century Movie Theater on Sierra Street in Downtown Reno. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects in that case are described as one white man and two Hispanic men.

The second and third stabbings happened in the area of Mill and Lake Streets around midnight. Police got the call of a fight and when they responded they found one victim of a stab wound near the Sienna Casino and a second victim on High Street. Both victims were taken to Renown with non-life threatening injuries.

The fourth stabbing happened just before 2 a.m. at a skate park off of White Lake Parkway in Cold Springs. Deputies say the man was stabbed at the skate park and then made his way to a nearby 7-11 to call for help. That victim was also taken to Renown Regional Medical Center where he underwent surgery. The extent of his injuries are unknown. Washoe County Sheriff's Deputies say the suspect in this stabbing is a Hispanic man in his 20's.

Washoe County Sheriff's Deputies say they are investigating a possible connection in all four stabbings.

Trailing by two runs in the ninth, Reno rallied with six runs on six hits to take the final 12-8 lead.
