HazMat Crews Identify White Powder in Threatening Letter

HazMat crews investigating a threatening letter sent to a collection agency office on Forest Street in Reno have identified the white, powdery substance contained in the envelope.

Officials say it was Splenda, the sugar substitute.

A criminal investigation has been initiated by the Reno Police Department.
