Poor Air Quality Continues for Monday

Posted: Updated:
The Washoe County Health District is predicting more smoke in our air this morning. The air quality is expected to stay in the "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" for most of the day and could jump to "Unhealthy" throughout the week.

They say people with respiratory or heart disease, the elderly and children should avoid prolonged exertion; everyone else should limit prolonged exertion. If the smoke is affecting you, remain indoors with the windows closed and air conditioning on and reduce any outdoor activity.
