Three Injured in Rollover Crash in Red Rock

Deputies with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office say alcohol is suspected in a rollover accident in north Reno Friday night.

The crash happened on North Virginia Street just past Red Rock Road around 10:30 p.m.

When the vehicle rolled, it took out a power pole, and that knocked out power to 2,600 customers for a couple of hours.

Three people were inside the vehicle when the crash happened.

Deputies say their injuries are not life-threatening.

    The Washoe County School District is considering using overpaid lunch funds to offset overdue accounts; but the means for doing so does not currently exist.  The district's Chief Operating Officer, Pete Etchart says they're awaiting legal advice and guidance from the Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA) before going forward with the option.
