Gary "Jabbers" Rudnick Sentenced Up to 7 Years in Prison

Posted: Updated:

A judge has sentenced Gary "Jabbers" Rudnick to up to seven years in prison. He could be eligible for parole in two years.

Rudnick testified against Ernesto Gonzalez during his recent murder trial.

Gonzalez was found guilty of murdering Jeffrey "Jethro" Pettigrew inside John Ascuaga's Nugget during Street Vibrations two years ago. Gonzalez was found guilty of first-degree murder and 6 other charges. He's scheduled to be sentenced in early October.

Rudnick is a former member of the Vagos motorcycle club and pleaded guilty to second degree murder in March of last year.

During Gonzalez's trial, Rudnick testified Pastor "Tata" Palafox, the Vagos International President ordered a hit on Pettigrew, during a secret meeting, the night of the murder.

He also testified that a group of Vagos was ordered to keep the Hells Angels from reaching the elevators, as they headed to their hotel rooms, which lead to the brawl and shootout.

A medical examiner said Pettigrew was shot at least five times during the incident.
