Carson Deputies Seek Residential Burglary Suspects

Posted: Updated:

The Carson City Sheriff's Office is investigating a series of residential burglaries that occurred between August 13- August 16.

Deputies say jewelry, computers, credit cards and other valuables were taken during each burglary.

Witnesses reported seeing three women going house-to-house asking for a fictitious person in order to see if the homes were occupied. Then deputies say when the women would find an empty house, the suspects would enter through an unlocked door, windows or other means.

Detectives say the women burglarized at least five homes in the area of Longridge and Beverly Drives in Carson City. Witnesses say the women were possibly Hispanic and wearing dresses.

The Carson City Sheriff's Office says it has a photograph from a Reno gas station where one of the victims' credit cards was used to withdraw approximately $6,500 in cash from an ATM. That photo is at right.

Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information. Just call 322-4900, go to or text your tip to 847411. Your call will remain anonymous.
