Reno Police Identify Motorcyclist in Fatal Accident

Posted: Updated:

Reno Police officers have identified the motorcyclist who died in an accident Tuesday night in Stead.

Police say 39-year-old Jarrod St. Clair of Reno was traveling on Lear Boulevard near Production Drive when he struck a car. St. Clair died on scene.

The driver of the car was flown by Care Flight to a hospital with critical injuries. That unidentified person remains in the hospital (at the time of this update.) The passenger was treated and released from the hospital on Tuesday night.

Police say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be involved in the accident, but they say speeding does appear to be a factor.

Police say they are also looking for the driver of a white passenger car that may have been traveling with the motorcycle but was not directly involved in the crash.
