Places 2 Check Out: Under the Rose Brewing Company

Posted: Updated:

A new local brewing company is holding its grand opening this weekend in Reno.

Under the Rose is located at 559 E. 4th Street and focused on nuance of flavor.

They're also trying to make beer a positive fundraising tool throughout the community while encouraging business along the 4th Street Corridor- during their "Positively Fourth Street" celebration on Saturday.

"Really come together with everybody on this block and unite and show everybody that Fourth Street's okay, you know it looks a little rough around the edges, but we're good," says owner Scott Edmond.

The festival runs Saturday from 2pm-10pm and costs $5 a person. Five percent of the proceeds go toward the Reno Bike Project.
