Heather Reimer thinks she's coming to Zaplab to help make a video. What she doesn't know is we are making a video of her surprise. She's slightly confused when she sees her husband in a video she thinks is about the project. And when her daughter popped up, the tears started flowing.  And all the while, her family is standing behind her. Moments after the video ends, she's told she's being given a trip to the National Women's Survivors Convention August 22-24th in Nashville, Tennessee.

Judy Pearson and Karen Shayne are the producers of the convention. They flew to Reno to surprise Heather. They both know all too well what it's like to be a survivor. "I am a 25 year ovarian and uteran cancer survivor," says Shayne.

Judy recently finished breast cancer treatments. Together they created the National Women's Survivors Convention to help women be better survivors. "The good news is you've survived. They unplug you from chemo and you're sent out into the world and you have a lot of other issues to deal with and you have no clue where to find information for. That's why we're here," explains Judy.

Heather recently topped the $10,000 mark for her foundation that helps pay for a SonoCine screenings for women who can't afford one. She says this surprise is surreal. "I've never done anything like this before."
