Squeeze In restaurants are holding a food and hygiene item drive for Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada and the St. Vincent's programs.
During the month of August, all four Squeeze In locations will collect non-perishable food items like pasta, rice, canned and boxed foods, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, razors, feminine hygiene items and diapers.
If you bring one of these items to a Squeeze In, you'll get a free short stack of pancakes or a half order of biscuits and gravy on your next visit!
Catholic Charities will distribute the food donations in our St. Vincent's Food Pantry, and the hygiene items will be given out to local families and job seekers through our Emergency Assistance Program. Combined, these two programs help close to 200,000 people in an average year.
There are four Squeeze In restaurants, the original in Historic Downtown Truckee California, two in Reno Nevada (Northwest and South), and one in Sparks, Nevada. All locations are open from 7am to 2pm every day. For locations and hours, visit www.SqueezeIn.com.
