The South Lake Tahoe Police Department needs your help finding a man they say tried to rob the El Dorado Savings Bank on Tahoe Blvd. on Thursday afternoon.

No weapon was ever used, or shown. The suspect then left through the front doors and rode off eastbound on a bicycle.

The suspect is described as white, possibly in his 70's, approximately 5'9" tall, thin and clean shaven. He has short hair and wore a baseball cap which was black in the front and white mesh in the back. The cap also had unknown lettering on the front.

He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, a dark colored polo style pull-over shirt with thin multi-colored horizontal stripes under black shorts, white socks and black shoes.

The bicycle is described as a white or chrome girl's style frame with a large basket on the front and a black bag affixed to the back.
