According to the Carson County Sheriff's Office a man was arrested after he threatened to shoot two people at the Olive Garden on Sunday night.

The sheriff's office says David Lane walked into the Olive Garden on S. Carson Street, and started complaining about the food. They say he asked for the manager and during their talk, he pulled a gun. The chef tried to talk to the man, but Lane threatened to shoot him.

Eventually, the man with the gun took off out the front door and sped away in his truck. Witnesses were able to get license plate number.

One person was slightly injured as patrons fled the building.

They traced it to Lane's home on Mica Drive in Carson City. Douglas County Sheriff's deputies were called in to assist with the arrest. Lane put up a fight and suffered minor injuries. He was taken to the hospital for treatment before heading to jail.

Lane was booked into the Carson City jail on two charges of assault with a deadly weapon, burglary with a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and battery.

Deputies say Lane has one prior arrest in Carson City resulting from a traffic infraction in December 2010. Deputies say there were no records of violence or mental health data on file.
