911 Outage Planned for Mono County, California

Posted: Updated:

The Mono County Sheriff's Office says people living in the Bridgeport, California area will lose 911 access for about two hours starting at midnight Thursday night due to work by Verizon.

The outage will be from midnight to 2 am tonight and tomorrow.

If you live in Bridgeport and have an emergency during those times call the Mono County Sheriff's Office at 760-932-7549 and press 7 for dispatch.

The local fire stations in the Bridgeport area will not be manned, so call the business lines if you have an emergency. If 911 is dialed during the outage, it will be re-routed to Inyo County and they will notify Mono dispatch of the emergency.
