Deputies: Missing Shooting Suspect Armed & Dangerous

Douglas County deputies need your help finding a shooting suspect they say is armed and dangerous.

They say Gary Wilson is a suspect in a shooting that happened at 2:15pm Thursday in the Topaz Ranch Estates area. They say he suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Douglas deputies say they're using Washoe County's RAVEN helicopter to find him and have also initiated its reverse emergency phone system to warn residents about the situation.

During a search Thursday night, deputies say they located the gun believed to have been used in the shooting. Deputies although Wilson's alleged gun has been found, it's not known if he possesses other firearms or weapons.

Wilson is described as white, 44 years old, approximately 5'10", and 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and no shirt.

Anyone with information leading to Wilson's location is encouraged to call Secret Witness at 775 782-7463. A reward is being offered for his capture.
