Portion of Sparks Blvd. to Close in SouthEast Connector Project

Posted: Updated:

From the Regional Transportation Commission:

Southbound Sparks Boulevard will be closed from Greg Street north to the I-80 eastbound off-ramp, and left turns from eastbound Greg Street to northbound Sparks Boulevard will be prohibited beginning Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 6:00 pm to Monday, July 22, 2013 at 6:00 am. Motorists are encouraged to use Vista Boulevard or McCarran Boulevard during this paving operation.

The closure is needed to achieve the required concrete strength prior to traffic being allowed on the new roadway section and for the safety of workers and motorists during the scheduled concrete paving operations on Sparks Boulevard for the RTC's SouthEast Connector Project.
