Two-Year-Old Mountain Lion Captured in Reno, Released

The Nevada Department of Wildlife has released a mountain lion which it found under a south Reno home over the weekend.

The department says the animal was found under a home on Broili Drive around 8 pm on Sunday.

Officials tranquilized and it was eventually captured on Westridge Drive.

Wildlife officials say the animal was a two-year-old male and weighed about 120 pounds.

It was taken up into the Carson Range and released above Lake Tahoe's West Shore.
