Authorities say they are investigating the report of a possible bomb threat that briefly shut down streets near the Reno Rodeo on Monday afternoon.

Authorities say the call came in just before 12:45pm Monday and came from the 100 block of South Center Street. No individual was identified, however, it was a female caller.

Washoe County Sheriff's Office spokesman Armando Avina says they brought in bomb dogs and an explosive team to check out the area as a precaution, but nothing was found.

County buildings around the fairgrounds also remain open.
